You can get your knives sharpened on the cheap if you're willing to let someone grind away at them on a machine. But believe me, I’ve seen and tested every mechanical sharpening device there is, and even the best of them waste steel and shorten the life of a good knife.

Makes Your Knives Sharper Than New

THE BEST WAY

Freehand sharpening removes only enough steel to create an edge and then refine it, producing an edge sharper than new. It’s not the only way to sharpen a knife, and it’s not the cheapest.  It’s the best way.

So what’s the cost? I keep things simple here. It’s $12.50 per knife no matter how long your knives are, no matter how short, and no matter how dull.

 

I repair most nicks, missing tips and the like at no extra charge. I can also replace a deteriorating or broken handle with such woods as teak, sapele, rosewood, and white oak.
